Concept2 BikeErg is the latest addition to our family of sports ergometers. It features the same flywheel and PM5 monitor as our indoor rowers and SkiErg, bringing the benefits and features we've introduced to rowing and skiing to cycling.

The flywheel uses air resistance to create a smooth, quiet, and responsive ride that precisely matches your effort. The damper is your "gearing," allowing you to adjust the feel of your ride. Unlike most stationary bikes, the BikeErg has a clutch, just like a real bike, so when you stop pedaling, the flywheel keeps spinning.

The advanced performance monitor provides instant workout feedback, with a wide range of displays and workouts to choose from. The performance monitor is calibrated so you can directly compare your times and distances with others and track your progress.

PM5 Monitor

Each BikeErg includes our most advanced monitor, the PM5. The PM5 provides reliable, comparable data for every ride and offers both a "Just Ride" mode and a variety of workouts. It provides a wide range of ride data, including pace, watts (W), RPM, and calories, and it automatically stores your workout data. The PM5 runs on 2 D-cell batteries when not being powered by the flywheel. The BikeErg PM5 also has Bluetooth and ANT+ wireless connectivity, allowing it to connect to many heart rate belts, fitness devices, and apps. The free Concept2 ErgData app helps you track your workouts and sync with the Concept2 online logbook. Apps like Zwift can provide additional features to keep you motivated.

Flywheel and Damper

The BikeErg uses the same flywheel design as our other ergometers—RowErgs and SkiErgs—for a smooth and responsive ride. The flywheel responds to your every effort and every RPM. The damper allows you to quickly adjust the airflow to the flywheel during your workout, much like changing gears on a bicycle. Opening the damper is like shifting to a heavier gear. Closing the damper is like shifting to a lighter gear.

Adjustable Seat and Handlebars

The seat and handlebar positions are easily adjustable. The seat height adjusts with a simple, secure lever. The seat position and angle can be adjusted. The handlebars move up and down and fore and aft—so you can easily find the setup that works best for you. If you want to further customize your setup, the BikeErg fits most standard bike parts, so you can use your own saddle, handlebars, and pedals for a top-notch personalized experience.

No Chain

The BikeErg uses high-strength, self-tensioning polygroove belts instead of a chain, which results in a virtually silent ride. The belts require no ongoing maintenance.

Lightweight and Mobile

The BikeErg's aluminum frame makes it both lightweight and durable, while caster wheels make it easy to move around. At just 58 pounds (26 kilograms), it's lighter than most stationary bikes.

Easy Assembly

The BikeErg requires very little assembly and includes all necessary tools and clear, illustrated instructions. Our machines are known for their durability and top-quality construction. Maintaining the Ergometer:

Concept2 rowing ergometers are known for their quality, durability, and easy maintenance. To ensure long, trouble-free performance from your equipment, we recommend the following:

• Wipe the seat off with a damp cloth after each use.
• Periodically check and snug up the bolts on the machine.
